Senator Ben Murray Bruce has called for the unity of Nigerians irrespective of party or religious affiliation.
The Senator in a series of tweets via his social media page expressed disappointment in the shutting down of Innosun vehicle plant.

The senator who has been a strong advocate of the promotion of #buynaijatogrownaija campaign said it was the saddest news he had heard in 2016 and called on Nigerians to reach out to each other irrespective of regional differences.
Nigerians must reach out and touch each other. Too much division in Nigeria. APC versus PDP, North versus South. Muslim versus Christians.

A lot of Igbos have been calling for the secession of the country in an attempt to establish an independent Biafra state.
Also some militants have also agitated for a separate country in the Niger Delta region with one of the groups threatening to declare an independent region on October 1.
