Novak Djokovic beat Andy Murray early this morning in the US Open quarter final clash following a hard fought match, 7-6, 6-7, 6-2, 6-4.
Novak Djokovic was on top for most of the match, dictating the pace and breaking Murrays serve on more than two occasions. The Olympic champion, Murray found it very difficult to cope with the speed and intensity of Djokovic as he could only pick up one set in the whole match on the tie breaker. By the fourth set, Murray looked visibly tired and made a couple of unforced errors.
Djokovic has done well to recover from his injury and come back banging. Following an impressive showing against another high profile opponent, Djokovic would look to march on and win the US Open.
