B ring on the gusheshes and fast cars to celebrate with the queen of dance at her birthday bash on Saturday!
Khabonina Qubeka is celebrating another birthday with a spin.
Come Spin into 2015 with Khabonina will take place at the Wheels and Smoke spinning arena in Alberton.
The event is now in its 14th year.
The Spina Guluva host said it was inspired by the people she met while doing the show ekasi about the lives of professional spinners.
Khabo told SunBuzz: “When I visited spinners, I saw their passion.
“This made me fall in love with what they do. I sat in a spinning car and realised I loved doing stunts while they drove. My body is flexible so it was easy to swing my leg or arms out of the car while they drove.”
She has challenged her celebrity friends to spin their cars at her birthday party.
Zano, Tumi Tladi and many other up- and-coming artists are in line to show off their talent.
The dress code for the event is dress to ride.
“I know South Africans are not good at dressing up, but I believe as ladies we all have boots or high heels and leggings – it’s the biker look.”
She added that the event is at a spinning track and people are allowed to park their cars at the venue.
Apart from people spinning cars and great performances, Khabo said there also will be a fashion show and dancers.
Spit braai stands will be available and people are allowed to bring cooler boxes.
