The radical American-born Muslim cleric who inspired the terrorists behind the Charlie Hebdo massacre hired prostitutes on multiple occasions. FBI report.
FBI leaked report also has it that Anwar al-Awlak paid prostitutes at least seven times in the Washington D.C. area between November 2001 and February 2002.
Al-Awak met brothers Cherif and Said Kouachi as they trained in the deserts of Yemen where al Qaeda’s deadliest franchise, AQAP, is based.
He spent as much as $2,300 on prostitutes. One of them told the FBI that he paid her $300 to watch as “she engaged in erotic behavior and stimulated herself in December, 2001 and again in January, 2002.”
Another prostitute told FBI agents “she looked through the peephole… and thought to herself that he looked like Osama bin Laden.” Al-Awlaki reportedly paid $400 to have sex with that woman, who described him as “very polite.”
The cleric was also arrested in 1996 and 1997 for soliciting prostitutes in San Diego, where he worked at a mosque. He pled guilty and paid the requisite fine.
Al-Awlaki doesn’t appear to be alone as a Muslim radical who is willing to pay for a woman’s company. There are reports that some of the 9/11 hijackers went to Las Vegas strip clubs and bought lap dances from the women who worked there.
Anwar Al-Awlaki was an American born radical who was killed during a U.S. drone strike in September, 2011. He was married and the father of five.
It is against Islamic law to publish images of Mohammed. Some of the images published by Charlie Hebdo depicted Mohammed in the nude, angering devout Muslims even more.
