Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Overseer of the Deeper Life Bible Church, has said Nigeria would overcome the current economic recession with prayers.
Pastor Kumuyi said things will get better
He said this on Thursday, September 1, in Calabar at a news conference to herald One Day Crusade organized by the church in the Cross River state capital, Vanguard reports.

Pastor Kumuyi said he was in the state to show the love of God to the people and to reassure them that things would be better.
“When there is the will, there is a way. God is still on the throne, with time things will get better,” the cleric said.
Kumuyi called on Muslims and Christians in Nigeria to have a rethink and live peacefully with one another.
He said both religions derive their faith from the same source and neither of the two advocates killing of any person.
The man of God noted that every religion is very important to people who practice it.
It was reported on Wednesday, August 31 that the Nigerian economy has finally fallen into recession.
Weeks back, Kumuyi expressed hope that the current harsh economic situation would soon be over, saying once there is hope and focus, the nation would get to its desired destination.
