Following the public outcry to help save the life of Paul Arisa, a 27-year-old man fighting for his life, Abia state government have stepped in to help his salvage his situation
Paul Arisa who is an indigene of Abiriba, in Abia state, has been battling a type of cancer known as Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, for the past three years.
Following the massive growth of the tumour, his friends took it upon themselves to publicly solicit for funds, as he is an orphan.
There is an ongoing campaign for the general public to assist Paul with whatever they could manage, prompting responses from individuals and organisations like the PDP, alike.

The outcry has now attracted the governor of Paul’s state, governor Okezie Ikpeazu, who has reacted by sending a medical practictioner, Mike Eninnaya, and Ubani Newman Ubani, his SSA on New Media, to visit Paul on his sick bed.
According to reports, they have asked for every information about his sickness, so as to know how to proceed with his treatment arrangements, up to when he recovers fully.
