While i was listening to the radio this morning, an angry HIV patient challenged Nigel Farage over his claims that migrants with the virus should not be allowed into the UK.

Charlie from Hampstead was furious with comments Mr Farage made in an interview with Newsweek Europe when he said that migrants with HIV should be banned from coming into the country.
She has lived with HIV for over 20 years and was angry at the suggestion by Mr Farage that people with HIV are a drain on services and a threat.
Mr Farage robustly defended his position with regards to people with HIV and immigration in general.
“We need an immigration policy where we decide the quantity and quality of those people that come to work, settle and live in our country. And just like Australia, America, in fact virtually every other country in the world, we want a good immigration policy that says; we want people with talent, we want people with trades, we want people with skills.
“But we don’t want people who have got criminal records and we can’t afford to take people who have got serious illnesses or life-threatening diseases.
“And that actually is the immigration policy that nearly the whole of the rest world pursues. And I don’t actually see anything controversial in it whatsoever.”
When asked what sort of people should be allowed to migrate to Britain, he said: “People who do not have HIV, to be frank. That’s a good start. And people with a skill.”
Charlie also accused Mr Farage of equating HIV with Ebola and trying to play the race card.
Mr Farage denied this and went on to say that his comments about people with HIV coming from abroad was related to the broader issue of the NHS being used by non-British citizens.
“I was talking about the National Health Service being for British people and that if we open up the National Health Service to unlimited numbers of people from Europe and the rest of the world, there will be fewer resources to treat people like you [Charlie]”
