Taylor Swift‘s 4th album, 1989, has been named the best-selling music album of 2014.
The feat is made more impressive considering she released the album barely 2 months to the end of the year.
Swift’s 1989 only became the best selling album in the last week of the year, knocking the soundtrack for Disney’s hit movie Frozen off the position it had held for the entire year.
1989 ended the year selling 3.66 million copies, compared to Frozen’s 3.53 million.
It’s the second time Swift will have the best-selling album in a year, after she first did it in 2009 with debut album, Fearless.
The top 3 was rounded out by Sam Smith, whose album In The Lonely Hour sold 1.21 million.
