Aston Villa fired Paul Lambert after some terrible displays, lack of goals and very woeful defending landed the club in the relegation zone and Villa are currently in searching for a manager. And former Tottenham manager, Tim Sherwood has emerged as the frontrunner for the job.
Tim Sherwood who managed Tottenham until the end of last season after Villas Boas was fired has limited experience in management but his work with Tottenham has to be applauded after he steadied a ship in a club that was set to implode and somehow ensured their participation in Europe this season. Sherwood might have to save another sinking ship in Aston Villa This season.
Aston Villa are still contemplating a few options but the current situation at the club would not encourage a lot of takers.
