Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger looked beaming as he returned to lead the club’s training sessions for the first time on Wednesday.
The Frenchman had spent the entire off-season in Brazil, working as a commentator and pundit for French television, with Steve Bould leading training sessions in his absence last week.
While at first this had fans concerned he may not be able to conduct transfer business effectively, these worries were spectacularly answered when the Gunners clinched the signing of Alexis Sanchez last week.
Now Wenger is back in North London, and was pictured looking happier than ever as he met back up with his players including FA Cup Final hero Aaron Ramsey.
New signing Alexis Sanchez is due back from his holiday, extended due to the World Cup, at the end of July.
Wenger is expected to continue to help the club work on further signings, and will manage the team in their first pre-season game against non-league Boreham Wood Town on Saturday July 19.
