Summary: With the arrival of Van Gaal, Manchester United seem to be rejuvenated. But the old Trafford outfit still need to bring in a few players as the defense will be missing the experience and abilities of Ferdinand and Vidic and Carrick seems set to miss the first ten weeks of the season. In De Gea, Manchester United have a world class shot stopper and Mata, Herrera, Kagawa and Januzaj will be a handful for any defense to cope with. Playing behind Rooney and Van Persie, Manchester United have no problems in attack. They however need a tenacious midfielder.
