– Zuckerberg was in Lagos where he met with young entrepreneurs and celebrities for two days before leaving for Kenya
Mark Zuckerberg’s sudden visit to Nigeria has continued to generate reactions and opinions among those in government and the citizens of the country.
The latest shading of Nigeria’s minister of communications, Adebayo Shittu, is coming from Reno Omokri, former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan and critic of the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
Reno Omokri mocks Nigerian government over Zuckerberg’s visit
Omokri, in the epic shading on his Twitter handle, mocked the minister and the Buhari government saying Zuckerberg refused to visit them because he was for the young people and not elderstatesmen.
Zuckerberg, the founder and chief executive officer of Facebook, left Lagos state on Thursday, August 1, 2016, after a two-day visit, for Kenya.

While in Kenya, he was a guest of the country’s minister of country’s ICT minister, Joe Mucheru. He also posted a photograph of himself with the minister and other government officials at a local restaurant.
While in Lagos, he met with young and talented individuals who are into information technology. He also made promises to increase the number of Nigerian languages on Facebook as well as launch a satellite to make internet connectivity available to the African continent.

Though the launch of the satellite failed as announced late Thursday by Zuckerberg, he explained that there was an alternative.
In one of the posts, Omokri said Zuckerberg snubbed the Nigerian government but met with the Kenyan minister.
